I was invited to a wedding two weekends ago. A family wedding. Everyone knows that family weddings are the best, what with all the visiting and carrying on. This wedding just happened to be in Saskatchewan, which is cool cause it means I got to go away for the weekend, and it also happened to be my super cool cousin Leighton's wedding, which means lots of fun with cousins and aunts and uncles and the like. My Aunty asked me if I would photograph my two cousins the night before the wedding when we arrived.
So the weather looked pretty bad on the drive up, but we managed to get to the farm just in time for the storm to pass and to watch a beautiful sunset. The boys were still at the wedding rehearsal, so we waited and waited, and finally they got home. By the time we got started, the sun was literally below the horizon, and the knee high grass was soaking wet and FULL of misquitoes! We still had fun goofing around and using up the last of the light. Falling through the burnt out trailer trying to get a higher vantage point was a little sketchy, but worth it. Boys, I had so much fun! And I gotta tell you, you guys are some kinda good lookin'!
